Kalin Myers, Secretary

Kalin Gabriel Myers works in the financial crimes compliance unit of a financial institution conducting independent time-sensitive investigations and analysis of potential anti-money laundering activity, fraud, and suspicious financial activity over multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Myers has over ten years of professional experience working in various courts, prosecution agencies, and financial institutions and has twenty years experience helping Hispanic/Latinos, children, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ, and underserved communities. Mr. Myers has served on a variety of boards and community activities throughout his service and leadership.

 

Mr. Myers graduated with honors from California State University San Marcos with a bachelor’s of Sociology and Criminology and Justice Studies. Mr. Myers moved to Phoenix, Arizona from San Diego, California in August 2013 to pursue his dream to attend law school. Mr. Myers earned his juris doctor degree from Arizona Summit Law School. Mr. Myers has served on the Booker T. Washington Child Development Center Board of Directors since 2015 and is currently the Secretary. 

Mr. Myers also volunteers weekly for numerous organizations such as the Hope Women’s Center that provides vulnerable women and teen girls who have been victims of domestic violence with education, mentoring, and support. Mr. Myers believes, "If you want to change the world volunteer for a cause or organization you believe in."
